Slacker

I don't blog enough... I mean to, but I just don't. So I have a funny story to share. You might not think this is funny, and I really shouldn't think it is funny, but I do. So my grandma got total knee surgery a few weeks ago (not funny) but she got addicted to pain killers and now she is having withdrawals (kinda funny). Thats not appropriate for me to think thats funny but it makes me laugh because it makes me think of when she was riding a bike, crashed into a tree, and got a black eye. Now thats funny. Sorry grandma, I still love you I swear! Anyways, on sunday it was my brothers homecoming and there was this clock on the wall that was freaking me out. The second hand was just spinning way fast in circles (I guess that's the only shape it can spin in, but still) and I about lost it. It was like in a horror film... so creepy! My little sister Sophie got to experience the joys of maturation. She LOVED it. Yeah it's not normal. But she would tell everyone that she went to maturation and then she would go into detail about what she learned. We had to have a long talk with Sophie. Not sure if she was mature enough to go to maturation in the first place...

Just to start off.... I LOVE MODERN FAMILY. Honestly though. Those writers just get the typical American family to a tee. Ahhh love it. Also, I LOVE J.CREW. It is just my favorite store of all time. Everything is so classy. Yeah classy is the perfect word to describe J.Crew. This is just a random side note.. but if any of you watch American Idol you would know there is this kid on their named Robbie Rosen. Now here is the thing with Robbie.. he has a HUGE nose. And when I say HUGE I mean it. So my parents call him Robbie Nosen and I just think that is about the funniest thing I have ever heard.

You are probably asking yourself "what strange spectacle of a picture?" Well this is how the story goes. Once upon a time my dad gave my mom that weird finger puppet for Christmas. If you think that maybe it is an inside joke between my parents, I assure you, it is not. Anyways, one day I took a stroll through my parents room and saw this. On top of a random horse statue is the infamous finger puppet. This just shows how strange my family really is.

On Saturday me and my parents went to Joy Luck for dinner and if any of you have been there, you would know that when you first walk in there is a TV and if you keep walking you stumble upon a fish tank. For all of you Modern Family watchers, it is safe to say that my dad had a Phil Dunphy moment. The host starts taking me and my mom to our seats and we notice that Alan is missing, so we turn around and there he is watching a stupid animated movie on the TV. I start laughing and me and my mom continue to sit down. As we are sitting down we realize that Alan is once again missing. We look over and he is about two inches from the glass absolutely mesmerized by the fish. It would have made any three year old proud.

Holy cow I know I haven't blogged in like ten billion years but

have been meaning too! I am more of a blog reader than a blog writer. I get on a lot to read your blog but I just never blog myself because a) I don't know what to blog about and b) I never have anything important/interesting to say. I will work on it from here on out..... don't you even fret one bit.

You know how certain older songs trigger your emotions/feelings of when you were obsessed with them? Well that keeps happening with songs that I liked around this time last year. I look back and see how much I have changed. Even just little things that I used to do have changed. For example, a year ago I would watch a lot of t.v. and do a lot of other pointless things to fill up my time. Now there is no time for t.v. Instead I have been filling my time with reading, running, homework, friends, family, and playing the piano and I feel like I have accomplished sooooo much more than before. It is just weird how much everything has changed from only a year ago!

Folks, I have a confession to make.... I am OBSESSED with ABC Family's show Pretty Little Liars. No, literally, obsessed. It's sick. I watch every episode without fail and I love every second of it. Just throwing that out there.

Recently I found this gem on my computer and I have listened to it at least once everyday. Love it.

MIA

It may appear that I have been MIA (missing in action), but I assure you I have not. I just have been really busy and haven't really been in the blogging mood. I just found this SNL video and thought it was WAY funny. I am a bit slap happy right now so thats probably why I was literally laughing out loud... by myself.... looking like a lunatic to the rest of my family. So uh yep, enjoy.

Ministry of Magic

Thursday, thursday, thursday....... Original Plan: Dress up with my friends and go to the midnight premier of Harry Potter 7 part 1 (or A if you prefer that) and have a wonderful time! New Plan: Go to California from Thursday to Sunday and have a wonderful time with my sister and my brother-in-law (this is a real brother-in-law we are talking about not janes "brother-in-law if you know what I mean. Yes this is directed towards you Jane P. Busk). So really on Thursday you couldn't go wrong with either huh? I am pretty pumped to go to Cali and skip school on Thursday and Friday! Booya. I am obsessed with this song right now. I haven't bought it but I REALLY want it!

Free Time

You know what I will have more of now? Thats right, you guessed it, FREE TIME! It has been so nice not having to go down into my bathroom at five and get ready for the play and then not get home until ten. Hallelujah its over! But I honestly had so much fun being in the show. It was a classy time to spend my last two weeks. I think that this video is way funny but you might not agree. I think I found it so funny because I have been in one of those moods where EVERYTHING is funny so... if you don't like it I am genuinely sorry. Lately I have been doing a video diary. Every night before I go to bed I set up my Flip camera and press record. When the light blinks red I just start talking about everything and everyone. I LOVE it. I highly recommend it. In fact I like it so much that I think it should qualify as some sort of relieving therapy. And yes I am being serious about that.

Oh.. Uh.. Just GloZell

Have you ever watched GloZell? She is a crazy black lady who reviews songs. I have only watched a few, but this is one of my favorites. Anyways, as you can see I never have pictures on my blog. There are two reasons for this unfortunate situation. 1) The computer that I am always on does not have a camera on it, so I cannot take pictures (obviously) and 2) I don't have a camera that is currently working, so I cannot take pictures and put them on my blog (again, its obvious that if I don't have a camera then I cant take pictures and put them on my blog. Sheesh you're killing me, really you are) . So that is the story of my tragic dilemma.

Freaking Crazy

This video is mesmerizing. Seriously though, it is. I don't really understand the music that goes with this... but it is still way good so its alright, I forgive the DJ. Personally, me thinks this guy has way too much time on his hands, but who am I to judge?.
